Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove has attracted adventurers since its beginnings. Long before Miami even existed, this tropical frontier village lured sailors and individualistic settlers into its quietly breathtaking natural setting with its wild sense of inspirational freedom.

Today, the village known to locals simply as "the Grove" is still a brilliant gem on the edge of the City of Miami. Though the sun can be found shining bright off the shimmering waters of Biscayne Bay any day, it's the warm welcome of the Grove community that illuminates your stay.

Restaurants

International "aromas," outdoor dining, and lush tropical views, that's what Coconut Grove dining is all about. Some of my all-time favorite restaurants in Miami are located in Coconut Grove, including:

Green Street Cafe
Focaccia Bistro
Jaguar Restaurant
Lokal Burgers & Beer
The Fresh Market

Shopping & Services

You'll find a different kind of retail in Coconut Grove. From trendy boutiques to quirky showrooms, Coconut Grove shops appeal to residents and visitors alike. I love Cocowalk in the heart of the Grove!

Of course for real estate, Coconut Grove is the headquarters of Avatar Real Estate Services, which is my brokerage.  I am very pleased to have been recently been made a partner in the firm.  The company is located in the prestigious Grand Bay Plaza across from Biscayne Bay.

And for marketing & web services, I must mention my team over at Virsocom Inc., who are also located in the Grand Bay Plaza.

Schools

Coconut Grove has a good variety of educational institutions where children can grow and learn surrounded by a beautiful tropical setting. For a list of schools in the Coconut Grove area, visit:

Particularly dear to my heart is the Ransom Everglades School, which you can visit here: http://www.ransomeverglades.org/

Parks

Coconut Grove is full of amazing attractions and parks that have beautiful foliage, and ample tree cover perfect for picnics. Many of the Grove's best parks backup to the amazing views of Biscayne Bay.
